Accent Prime

The Accent Prime platform uses ultrasonic wave technology, combining longitudinal and transverse waves with unipolar radiofrequency with an impressive frequency of 40.68 Hz (the highest available on the market). Accent Prime uses a patented combination of longitudinal and shear wave ultrasound technology to selectively target fat cells, leaving the surrounding tissues intact. The transverse wave vibrations destroy the membranes of fat cells, leading to the gradual breakdown and release of the stored fat. The damaged content of adipocytes is then removed from the body by the lymphatic system. The advantage of this system is the simultaneous emission of longitudinal and transverse waves: the longitudinal wave heats the upper layers of the skin, while the transverse wave penetrates deep into the subcutaneous tissue. Thanks to the use of cold ultrasound technology, it is possible to selectively damage the membranes of fat cells and release fat from them. The damaged fat cells are then removed via the lymphatic vessels. In turn, the so-called warm ultrasounds guarantee an advanced cavitation effect, i.e. the formation of the so-called cavitation bubbles inside fat cells. Under their influence, fat cells break down, which ensures a lasting slimming effect.

A great advantage of the Accent Prime apparatus is the possibility of using a variety of heads. Ultrasounds are emitted, among others, by the UltraSpeed ​​head, which significantly reduces the duration of the treatment. This is possible thanks to the large surface of the head, the diameter of which is as much as 8 cm. This allows even larger areas of the body to be treated. Thanks to this, the duration of the procedure is approximately 20 minutes. On the other hand, the small Mini Speed ​​head allows precise operation on much smaller areas of the body. The diameter of the head is several cm and allows, among others, the removal of fat in the chin area.

Accent Prime offers dielectric heating – a unique mechanism by which high RF energy is transferred directly to the tissue, causing its water molecules to rotate rapidly. This rotation of the molecules creates friction which generates strong and effective heat. Since the skin is mainly made of water, the thermal effect induces a volumetric contraction in the skin, contracting existing fibers and stimulating the formation of new collagen while improving its thickness and alignment. High RF frequency allows for deep, homogeneous heating, resulting in consistent results. Heating the skin and subcutaneous tissue to a temperature of 45 – 60 degrees also stimulates blood circulation and improves lymphatic drainage, thus being an ideal complement to the treatment with ultrasound and facilitating the removal of damaged fat cells. By using the maximum peak power, the phenomenon of impedance, i.e. energy bouncing off the tissues, is eliminated. The RF radio wave emitted by Accent Prime enables the maximum absorption of energy by the target tissues. Another innovative solution is the patented Alma Unipolar technology, which allows for concentrated, safe and deep heating of tissues at various depths in the skin. Unipolar works with a single electrode, delivering concentrated RF energy that reaches the deeper layers of the skin without the patient’s discomfort. On the other hand, the Phase Shifter technology, i.e. the Accent Prime depth control technology, allows to control the exact depth of the treatment, with targeted heating in different layers of the skin.

Radio wave technology is used by Unibody and Uniface heads. The Uniface head is used on small areas of the face – face and chin, while the Unibody head is used to slim and shape body areas such as the buttocks, thighs, abdomen, arms and calves.

Ultrasounds and radio waves can be used to reduce fat tissue and at the same time to firm the skin and increase its density. The indication for the treatment with the use of the Accent Prime platform is therefore the desire to comprehensively improve the appearance of the face and body using a completely non-invasive procedure, without the need for convalescence. Ultrasound and radio waves are used for:

In order to improve the process of removing fat released from adipocytes, the patient should drink about 2.5 liters of water both after and before the procedure; in addition, it is recommended to use an easily digestible, low-fat diet after the procedure.

The slimming and firming effect after the Accent Prime treatment appears after the first treatment, however, it is necessary to wait for the final effect to appear until the released fat is drained and the collagen fibers are synthesized. The final effect can be assessed after about 3 months. To increase the effectiveness of the therapy, it is good to perform a series of 4 – 6 treatments repeated every 7 – 14 days.
