Nowadays one of the attributes of female beauty is a perfectly smooth body, so even slight amount of hair, occurring in anatomically is undesirable. The intensity of body hair is an individual matter and depends on their density and colour \u2013 dark hair is more noticeable than a light shade. Hair intensity is also influenced by genetic predisposition. What women perceive as an excess of hair can therefore be a properly occurring body hair. The excessive hair in women is called hirsutism.\u00a0<strong>Hirsutism develops on the basis of hormonal disorders<\/strong>\u00a0accompanying, among others, polycystic ovary syndrome, Cushing\u2019s syndrome or hyperprolactinemia, as well as the use of certain drugs. Hirsutism is characterized by an excess of hair on the face, abdomen, chest and back, as well as limbs. Excessive hair growth is most often accompanied by excessive seborrhoea, acne lesions and androgenic alopecia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Excessive male hair is difficult to define<\/strong>.\u00a0By nature, men have abundant hair on the body, and the intensity of hair \u2013 as in women \u2013 is an individual matter. More and more often, proper hair is perceived as an excess of hair in men \u2013 especially in such locations as the back or chest.
