Medical peeling offer
We offer the following types of medical peeling in our surgery:
Azelaic acid
Azelaic perfectly normalizes the secretion of sebum, showing bacteriostatic activity and reduces skin discoloration
Almond acid
This is Mandelac with brightening properties of skin discoloration. Almond acid is great for signs of aging, disturbed pigmentation, numerous post-natal, or age pigmentation, or as a consequence of hormonal contraception.
Pyruvic acid
Pyruvic peel perfectly cares for acne skin, as well as stimulating the synthesis of collagen and elastin. It eliminates the thickening of the epidermis, exfoliates the skin but does not dry it, thus protecting it from dehydration. It regulates the secretion of sebum and acts antibacterial and is recommended for people struggling with acne. Its operation is compared to the TCA peeling but without the accompanying inconvenience.
Ferulic acid
Ferulac with vitamin C, with high antioxidant activity, has antioxidant properties, protects the skin against UVA and UVB radiation, minimizes, removes discolorations and prevents their formation.
Salicylic acid
This is salipeel with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity, normalizing seborrhea and is recommended for acne skin, for people struggling with papules lumps, pimples and blackheads. The imperfections open in just a few minutes, which allows the action of acid from the epithelial hair follicle to the sebaceous gland. It has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-aging properties.
Collagen booster
This contains retinol with properties stimulating fibroblasts, which leads to smoothing and elasticity of the skin and increasing its density.
Yellow Peel
This is a composition of retinoic acid, phyto acid, kojic acid and azelaic acid, providing a brightening effect on discoloration.
Course of treatment for chemical peeling
This medical peeling treatment consists in applying peeling to the skin surface and leaving the formulation for a specified time. Acids contained in medical peeling lead to the phenomenon of chemical exfoliation, i.e. exfoliation of dead epithelial cells. Surface exfoliation leads to increased permeability of the stratum corneum and removal of dead epidermis. Such activity is demonstrated by hydroxy acids (glycolic acid, lactic acid, almond acid, pyruvic acid). Skin exfoliation at moderate depth reaches the upper papillary layer of the dermis and provides the effect of smoothing the skin as well as stimulating fibroblasts. This effect is ensured by the use of Yellow Peel or alpha-hydroxy acid peel in high concentrations. In turn, deep exfoliation reaches the skin’s reticulate layer, providing an anti-wrinkle effect.
The skin may appear reddish after the treatment with the use of acids on the face, skin peeling takes place within a few days after the treatment. Proper skin care is very important in this period, and you must not scratch the scaly skin. It is necessary to use delicate cosmetics with a moisturizing and nourishing effect. Avoiding exposure to the sun and the use of high UV filters is necessary. It is also recommended to keep to a diet rich in omega 3 (fish, avocados, nuts, vegetable oils), protein and antioxidants, which will increase the regenerative potential of the skin.
The effects of medical peeling
The use of appropriate chemical peeling provides the effect of skin renewal. After scaly skin lesions heeling, you can notice the skin refreshing effect, lighten discoloration, normalize the secretion of sebum, narrow skin pores and alleviate acne lesions. However, a few months after the treatment, an increase in skin density is noticeable, smoothing wrinkles and restoring skin elasticity, which results from the stimulation of fibroblast activity and synthesis of collagen fibers. A series of treatments using chemical peeling is recommended for a satisfactory effect. How often should the treatment be repeated? It is best to perform 4 – 6 treatment sessions at intervals of 2 – 3 weeks.
Contraindications to Medical Acids
Can anyone carry out face acids? Contraindications for the treatment include skin infections, purulent lesions, skin allergies, pregnancy and breastfeeding, autoimmune diseases, and a tendency to developing keloids. The treatment is also discouraged for people treated with retinoids. And what about the safety of using acids on the face? Side effects may result from non-compliance with hygiene rules during the procedure (which happens only in dubious quality aesthetic medicine surgeries) and after the procedure. Then the risk of bacterial or viral infections increases.
